Be Well to Excel Launches October 3
Be Well to Excel launches on the first Saturdays of the Month, beginning October 3!
Be Well to Excel cultivates an athletic mindset built for high performance, resiliency, and leadership. In this class, students engage in boxing and sport-specific conditioning, teamwork, personal and leadership development—the underrated skills needed to be a high-performing athlete and champion of your community.
Be Well to Excel was piloted from 2024-2025 as a project funded by the Department of Health and Human Services with the goal of providing Montgomery County youth with boxing and athletic training as a healthy, drug-free alternative. Youth received boxing conditioning, leadership training, mentorship, and community-building that increased their confidence and daily wellness practices.
We’re excited to add Be Well to Excel to the permanent rotation of classes at Donte’s Foundation, in addition to the Free Youth Boxing Clinic held on 2nd and 4th Saturdays.
Be Well to Excel will be held on the first Saturdays of the month from 9-10:15AM. We recommend that students take at least ONE Free Youth Boxing Clinic before joining. Check the live schedule that accounts for holidays and changes. You must register to join; note: sparring is part of this class.
